Sophia Graham, academic turned coach and therapist. Here to help you create the life you want!

Do you have difficulty engaging with support because emotions get in the way?

Do you find it difficult to express boundaries, ask for what you need and to manage your team effectively?

This bundle might help!

It is all about tailoring a course to help you and your team manage distress, regulate emotions and communicate effectively with each other. These skills are clinically proven to reduce depression, anxiety, suicidality and a host of other mental health issue. They are also highly effective at reducing interpersonal conflict and improving relationships.

Why work with me?

I’m uniquely qualified to help with these issues. I’m a disabled woman and have lived experience of the ways that the world disables people. I have a PhD in Industry and Business that specifically explored management practices in social care & insecure work in the sector. I also have a PG cert in Counseling and training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I will work with you to come up the a plan to give you and your PA’s the skills that you need to interact more effectively and to make the most of the support that you have. This will include supporting your PA’s to learn emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

How will we work together?

We will meet online to work out what you need. I will charge you an hourly rate for 2-3 hours while we build a course that will help you and your team to work towards your objectives. Once we have done this I will put together a quote for the training needed. Training sessions will be online at an agreed time every week or fortnight. They will last between 1-2 hours, depending on your needs. I will provide training booklets, handouts, podcasts and video’s to support your learning, depending on what is most effective for you and your team. All of the skills training will be focused on meeting your objectives, and adjustments can be made if needed.

How much will this cost?

The cost depends on many factors including:

  • the duration of training needed
  • whether you need two people to support the training or whether I can deliver it alone
  • how much 121 support you need in developing these skills
  • the level of turnover in your PA team

I am happy to support you with seeking funding for this training from the Clinical Commissioning Group or Social Care, should this assist you.
