I have experience of working with clients with a range of impairments and disabilities. I take a social model approach to disability, which means that I recognise that the way that society is organised is disabling to many people with impairments. I have personally identified as disabled since I was a teenager. I recognise the impact of disablism on many disabled people, particularly assumptions about our sexuality (or lack of it), capability and competence. I am happy to work with disabled people on issues relating to mental health, changes in impairment, relationships, life and work.
